A well-established institutional conglomerate is a leading socio-cultural centre in the field of education today. It owes its existence to the roots imbedded by Sangeet Sudhakar Swami Shri Shreevallabh Dasji, a great exponent of Indian classical music.

Swamiji's ardent desire was to establish a music academy and an ideal school in a serene and pure environment that would instil Indian culture and values. As a first step towards realizing his dream and mission, he established Shreevallabh Shikshan Sangeet Ashram in Sion, Mumbai, in 1949, contributing to modern education and Indian fine arts. It was inaugurated by Shri Kaka Kalelkar, a well-known Gujarati litterateur.

Over the years, this humble beginning in Sion, Mumbai, has grown significantly. The Ashram now manages several institutions in Mumbai, namely, Shreevallabh Vividhlakhi Vidyalaya, Shreevallabh Ashram English Medium School, Shreevallabh Sangeetalaya (an academy for Indian classical music and dance), and a Yoga Centre. These centres, housed in their own spacious buildings, are duly registered by the Government of Maharashtra and are proudly contributing to society's growth and well-being.
